Fleet Flood Scheme: Property Flood Resilience
The Environment Agency aims to install Property Flood Resilience measures to properties at the highest risk of flooding, subject to funding approval from government.
Flooding in Fleet is from a combination of sources including watercourses and heavy rainfall that can overwhelm drainage systems. Flooding can happen quickly, often within a matter of hours and can disappear just as quickly.
What is Property Flood Resilience (PFR)?
| PFR is a set of simple, highly effective measures designed to reduce flood risks and minimise potential water damage to your property. PFR includes features like door barriers, airbrick covers, and other water-resistant installations that we can tailor to meet the specific needs of your property. These measures could give you more security during extreme weather. | ![]() |

Is your property at risk of flooding?
Take a look at the map on this page. Please note that the map shows the flood risk to an area, not to individual properties.
Could Property Flood Resilience measures help you?
The deadline to register for a free property survey was 4 June 2025.
If your property is at risk of flooding we offered a free property survey. The survey was carried out by a qualified contractor and confirms eligibility for the scheme. It details routes that flood water could enter your home and what PFR measures could help reduce the costly impact of flooding.
