We’re getting ready to start beach investigations along the Eastbourne to Pevensey Bay coastline.
Today, we’ve been setting up a temporary compound at Sovereign West car park, with the team on site over the coming week preparing for the works.

Investigations are set to begin next week and will involve inspecting flood defences below the surface and assessing ground conditions to help inform future refurbishment and maintenance.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm
Seafront access will remain open as normal
We’ll keep you updated with specific locations and timings as the works progress.
