Flood schemes receiving new investment - 17 March

Great news: £8 million has been secured for the Pevensey Bay to Eastbourne Coastal Management scheme. This investment will help protect homes, businesses and communities in the local area for years to come.

We’re investing £1.4 billion over the next year to protect homes, businesses and vital infrastructure from flooding.

Across the country, schemes like these will receive a share of this investment to help us continue building the nations flood resilience.
This includes more than £260 million to support the maintenance and repair of assets, including for damage following Storms Goretti and Chandra.
