Welcome to the Environment Agency's national navigation and waterways engagement page.

We are the second largest navigation authority in the UK, responsible for managing 1,010km of inland waterways.

This includes:

• the non-tidal River Thames
• Anglian waterways
• Medway navigation
• Rivers Wye and Lugg
• Rye and Lydney harbours
