Where is the site?
The site is located at Stone Arrow Farm, Peopleton, Pershore, WR10 2DZ.
EA Action
In November 2024, the Environment Agency informed the landowner that they should take steps to prevent illegal waste activity on the site.
In early 2025, the Environment Agency served a Section 59 (S59) Notice to remove waste on the occupier of the site.
The Environment Agency and West Mercia Police (WMP) conducted a joint patrol on 21 November 2025. WMP seized a front-loading shovel being used at the site.
On 8 January 2026, the Environment Agency and West Mercia Police conducted a joint Day of Action in relation to illegal waste crime activity in the area.
On 19 March 2026 – Environment Agency officers assisted with Police action relating to possible stolen equipment being stored at the site.
What has the Environment Agency done to date?
The Environment Agency first received reports of waste at the site in late 2024.
We attended the site in September and October and categorised activity as an illegal waste site in October 2024.
The Environment Agency has conducted regular patrols of the site, alongside partner organisations including the police.
On 14 October 2025 the fire service attended an on-site fire.
