Plasgran Update - 6 May 2026

Following the Environment Agency’s audit last year the operator was required to undertake a structural survey.

The next stage of this process involves further assessment and carrying out work on the Effluent Treatment Plant. This work will require the plant to be emptied and parts of the structure to be removed to allow improvements to be made.

Work is due to start today, and there may be a temporary increase in odours during this time. These works are essential to the continued operation of the site. We will continue to update the community on the progress of the works.
