Welcome to our water engagement hub. The hub is a new initiative we’re piloting to provide greater accessibility to the data and information we hold on the water environment.
We know how much water matters: the quality of it and how much there is, for us, the places and things we care about and everything that depends on it. We are the regulator of the water industry in England and we have a key role alongside many others to protect and improve water. The water industry is only one source of water pollution in England – agriculture and urban sources of pollution are also key contributors. We know more needs to be done and we’re working hard to do that.
Transparency is a key to change. We receive vast amounts of data and are driving greater transparency from others so we can all understand more. Through our hub, we want to share with you what we know about the water environment, and what we’re doing to improve it.
