How is the Environment Agency ensuring the security and privacy of the information submitted through the online form?
All government digital services are required to comply with stringent data protection standards before being publicly available online to ensure that data remains safe and is stored securely. You can view our privacy policy using the link at the bottom of every page when using the service.
Will reporters receive feedback on their submissions?
We will acknowledge receipt of online reports however we will not be able to update the public about reports they have submitted individually. This is the same for any reports we receive over the phone.

We are investigating several possible ways to manage reporters' expectations and may be able to provide this functionality in the future but not in the short term.
Do I need a computer to use the online reporting tool?
The online reporting tool has been designed to work on all modern devices and browsers, including tablets, smart phones and computers.
What measures are in place to ensure accessibility for users with disabilities?
