Embankment Investigations

Over the winter period specialist contractors have carried out investigation work along the embankment of Mill Dam Dyke, to provide a detailed report of the location, depth, and condition of the sheet piles within the embankment.

Whilst this information will not alter the condition of the embankment it will allow us to make more informed choices in the future, should greater maintenance and/or repair work to the embankment or channel be required in the future.
