🌿 What is that green covering on the water?

It's called duckweed, a naturally occurring aquatic plant that is commonly seen on local watercourses during the warmer months. Recent dry weather and low water levels have allowed it to accumulate in some areas. The good news is that as water levels rise and river flows return to normal, the duckweed will naturally disperse and be flushed through the watercourse.
