• collapsed or badly damaged river banks
• damage or danger to the natural environment
• dead fish or fish gasping for air
• people taking water illegally from rivers, streams, canals or underground sources such as wells
• incidents at Environment Agency-regulated waste sites

• unusual changes in river flow
• water pollution
• smells
• damage to nature

Groundwater flooding:

Groundwater flooding is where water rises back to the surface from underground. To report groundwater flooding and you will need to get in contact on:

When not to call:

• Low or high water levels
• Reports of damage or vandalism
• Reports of fly tipping or animal carcasses
• Reports of unlicensed or speeding boats
